Meet Sasha
Osteopathic Manual Practitioner
M.OMSc, BA(hon)
Sasha’s passion for movement and the human body began with her background in dance. Sasha studied dance intensely earning her Bachelor of Arts (honors) degree and going on to dance professionally and teach dance to children of all ages and levels. Throughout her dance career she struggled with various chronic injuries leading her to seek out answers and reprieve. She became fed up with non-answers such as, “you’re just dancing too much” and bandaid solutions for pain. Osteopathy gave her a logical approach to finding the why. By looking at the body as a whole, osteopathic treatment addressed why an area was being overused leading to injury and gave lasting results.
Sasha studied osteopathy at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy, a comprehensive 4 year education in principles based, classical osteopathy earning her designation: Master in Practice of Osteopathic Manipulative Science (M.OMSc). The Canadian Academy of Osteopathy is a 4200 hour, type 1 program which adheres to the highest international standard of osteopathic education recognized by the World Health Organization.
Sasha is passionate about helping you find the why behind your pain, to facilitate healing and get you back to doing what you love.
